五月病

Needs to have the etymology and pronunciation headers, as well as the ja-noun template instead of categorized, but I don't know how to do that without removing the extra parenthesized information "ごがつびょう, gogatsubyō"; I don't know what that is, but if it's etymological information it should be placed somewhere else. "ごがつびょう, gogatsubyō" is the pronunciation of 五月病. Literally, "May illness". The kanji box provides a good etymology. —Stephen ^(Talk) 07:54, 12 May 2011 (UTC)

No, it is "May disease". "Five month disease", if there were such a thing, would be 5ヶ月の病気. Japanese New Year falls in April, a time of renewal, and those who fail to adjust to change well may suffer depression in May. —Stephen ^(Talk) 17:02, 13 May 2011 (UTC)
