Polish and Czech

@Tooironic, Justinrleung It appears that Chinese rarely borrows directly from Polish or Czech. The Chinese word was most likely borrowed from English. RcAlex36 (talk) 18:36, 12 December 2021 (UTC)

Or via French. Or Latin. There was a lot of communication between premodern China and Europe in languages other than English. We won't know for sure without some peer-reviewed research. ---> Tooironic (talk) 01:26, 13 December 2021 (UTC)
