Reading

@LoutK: Is the cha reading really from Middle Chinese? It looks like a potential Mandarin borrowing to me, and the NIKL also says "'차'라는 한자음은 중국의 송대 이후의 한자음입니다", where post-Song is clearly a reference to Early Mandarin.--Karaeng Matoaya (talk) 12:32, 23 October 2020 (UTC)

The Middle Chinese /ɖˠa/ pronunciation would only produce the da reading. So, It's most likely a borrowing from Early Mandarin post-Song like you said, If the NIKL's assessment is correct. I have added the Early Mandarin derivation for the cha reading.—LoutK (talk) 15:06, 23 October 2020 (UTC)
