Alternative Form

edit

@Justinrleung The alternative form you added here is 擳篦, but the resources I see show 櫛篦. I changed it to 櫛篦 for now, but did any source you use show 擳篦? Mar vin kaiser (talk) 23:55, 7 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

@Justinrleung: Also, what do you think of using 櫛篦 for the main entry instead? Since 櫛 means comb. --Mar vin kaiser (talk) 23:57, 7 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Mar vin kaiser: 擳 should be a typo; thanks for catching that! I believe etymologically, it should be / because it was used to remove lice, cf. the Jin word 刮蝨子. Traditional sources used , according to TJC. — justin(r)leung (t...) | c=› } 05:10, 8 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
I also think 櫛 is problematic from a phonetic standpoint. I don't think sat would be a regular reflex. — justin(r)leung (t...) | c=› } 05:12, 8 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
