Capitalisation

I'm not sure if this is a Connel-ism, or perhaps a MacKenzie-ism, but I'm pretty certain I only see "aka" on very rare occasions; I was taught to always write it as "AKA" in capitals. This was lower-cased as an artifact of the massive case-desentitizing of Wiktionary a while back perhaps?

This article is the upper case version - it certainly should represent the upper-case variation (with links to the lower case flavor.)

Both Merriam-Webster Online and Cambridge Dictionaries Online now consider this term to be spelled "aka", no periods/stops, no spaces, all lowercase. Even attempts to look up "A.K.A." or "AKA" end up at "aka" on both. Yet our current entry on "aka" doesn't even include an English variation, let alone this definition. Is there some reason discussed somewhere that we haven't updated these entries to reflect current official usage? Example mismatch

Why does the example use another variation, "A.K.A."? I find it confusing. --Mortense (talk) 08:29, 20 May 2012 (UTC)
