More accurate definition?

An alternative definition (paraphrased slightly) from the obsolete medical book On Diseases of the Skin, Including the Exanthemata (volume 2): "an acuminated pustule of intermediate size, containing a thick straw-coloured fluid, usually occurring around the head and succeeded by a thin brown or yellowish scab".
