contrary to: indicates that something is done unexpectedly or unintentionally

Should the following meaning be added?

contrary to: indicates that something is done unexpectedly or unintentionally: She blushed deeply despite herself (Microsoft® Encarta® 2009) --Backinstadiums (talk) 10:13, 13 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

Maybe despite oneself merits an entry. Apart from that I think it's covered. Equinox 13:47, 13 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
@Equinox: so does OED https://www.oxfordlearnersdictionaries.com/definition/english/despite?q=despite --Backinstadiums (talk) 08:51, 6 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Regardless should not be used for despite (= in spite of).
