Possible missing sense edit

Chambers 1908 has an additional intransitive sense, "to rise (as prices)". This could be an over-literal interpretation of the etymology, or it could be a specialisation. In any case, whether prices rising is an "improvement" or not (in the general sense) would seem to depend on whether you are buying or selling. Equinox 19:37, 13 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
