Talk:jahkata

True meaning of the word

As a Finnish speaking person I think this article is defining the word "jankata" or "jankuttaa". Jahkata has nothing to do with opposing or complaining. -188.67.88.168 12:26, 21 March 2013 (UTC)

According to Nykysuomen sanakirja (NSK) you are wrong. There are two senses for jahkata:

1. päivitellä
2. inttää, kiistää.

Please note that jahkata and jahkailla have one common sense (päivitellä) but jahkailla also means aikoa, aikailla. --Hekaheka (talk) 18:01, 16 August 2013 (UTC)
