Alt form of adjective macrocephalous. That doesn't seem right; the adjectival suffix is -ous. Google Books finds mostly a Latin taxonomic designator, and possibly an English noun ("Lisbon continues to stand out as a macrocephalus amongst the remaining urban centres").
