editI think niés and neveu are traditionally considered to be the same noun, niés is 'nephew', ultimately whence the English niece (feminine of niés). I don't think it's a separate noun so much as an irregular noun like suer/seror,, or pute/putain. Mglovesfun (talk) 10:45, 12 October 2011 (UTC)
