Does this word need only apply to evolutionary studies of 'animal' physiology? Can it not also include the study of plant, fungal, or microbial physiology?
- Generally it seems to be animal. Searching Google Books for "paleophysiology of" finds mainly dinosaurs, also some mammals and birds. I found one non-animal example, which referred to cyanobacteria. Equinox ◑ 14:28, 6 July 2018 (UTC)
