Ety 2: possible missing sense edit
Chambers 1908 has the definition "a warrant for money in the funds". Unless that's an old way of saying "insurance policy", we appear to be lacking that sense. Equinox ◑ 14:10, 7 July 2018 (UTC)
- Apparently the "funds" = the "public funds", which Century defines as government debt or government-issued securities. DCDuring (talk) 03:00, 10 July 2018 (UTC)
