Is this a common enough misspelling to merit inclusion? John Cross (talk) 20:12, 25 July 2020 (UTC)

Common enough that the U.S. Naval Institute and the U.S. Dept. of Defense spell it that way, albeit with capital letters. Also seen that way in an article in The Space Review by an assistant professor associated with the U.S. Air Force and elsewhere. One question is: is this really a misspelling at all? Another one: should we too capitalize it? At least in military circles, it seems more common to capitalize the names of official ranks.  --Lambiam 13:33, 27 July 2020 (UTC)

Capitalisation is probably better avoided for ranks, although there is President and Prime Minister - all too often they are not worthy of the title. DonnanZ (talk) 09:18, 28 July 2020 (UTC)
