Pronunciation of tree sense

My paper dictionary gives two pronunciations, neither of which fits the one given under rhymes. GB: /raʊən/, US: /roʊən/. Which one is corretc? Ferike333 18:46, 26 November 2009 (UTC)

Are you sure the first one isn't /rəʊən/ (ə instead of a)? Then they would both agree with our entry. However, the first syllable can also be like how or cow, according to Chambers, and we don't mention that. Equinox ◑ 15:30, 4 December 2016 (UTC)
