Does anyone have a citation for shove being a past-tense form of shave? It didn't seem quite right to me, though not patently wrong, so I worked it over in my head for half an hour. After checking with others, as well as a quick check around the internet, I can find no mention outside of Wikipedia and Wiktionary for this usage. Not even shove mentions it. Until someone finds a citation, I've commented it out. — ˈzɪzɨvə 04:14, 28 August 2008 (UTC)

Shove is good (see here). It is pronounced with a long o, rhyming with trove, hove. —Stephen 15:05, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
