Shouldn't this be listed as a homophone of wonder? SaveFerris 00:00, 5 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

They don't sound the same in British English, at least. Equinox 00:10, 5 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
They do in my British English, how do you pronounce them? SaveFerris 12:50, 8 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
For me, the first syllable of wander is one (rhymes with on, gone); first syllable of wonder is won (rhymes with gun, done). Equinox 16:53, 8 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

They sound the same in my British English too but it’s a very Brummie pronunciation, I’ll add another pronunciation and put a W Mids tag on itOverlordnat1 (talk) 13:28, 6 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Does wander really mean commit adultery in some variety of English that I have no experience of? No one in England uses wander in this way. Is this American ? Unless someone defends it I propose to remove it or qualify the definition with a region. CecilWard (talk) 23:25, 4 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
