User:Steinbach/Zealandic words
This subpage is to contain various lists of Zealandic words. First of all, there'll be a general category for words that are considered "typically Zealandic" - words, that is, that are often different from Standard Dutch (at least from modern everyday Dutch) and are frequently cited as such. Then I'll get to several thematic categories for specific domains such as fishery, farming/agriculture, local/regional geography, housework, city life - those domains where dialects usually have their most characteristic vocabulary. When things get serious, I'll no doubt split this page up, but for now, I'm working mostly from memory so the list won't grow into epic proportions.
Note that some words listed as jargon have other, more common meanings as well.
