When Joseph saw that the prophecy arisen from his father, he got up, prayed, and pleaded for mercy from HKB"H so that the prophecy would return and dwell once more with his father.
Just as it happened with Zimri son of Salu, a prince of the tribe of Shimon, that he commited adultery with Kozbi daughter of Sur, a prince[ss] of Midyan. And Pinhas son of Elazar got up and killed the adulterer and the adulteress. And a plague fell upon the tribe of Shimon and twenty-four thousand of their men died because of his sin.

Given Hebrew translation: פתחו פיהם לפניו ואמרו לו חכמיו וזרש אשתו המורדים. אם מרדכי הוא מזרע היהודים. לא יצלח בידו דבר כי הם בני אצילים. ותמיד שומרים את אורחות ה׳.

When Moshe Rabbenu took the paper, he read it, but it was written about him: Moshe, I am Yitro your father-in-law, I am at your house, and your wife and both the sons are with him.
