Hi Paul — thanks for pointing this out. The reason I made the change was to achieve a uniform style in the “off” article. In retrospect, it’s obvious that I should have investigated Wiktionary best practices before changing a template that’s used on a range of other unrelated articles. I have now gone back and instead unitalicized the other parentheses in the “off” article. Maybe this convention is worth mentioning on WT:ELE? — Daniel Brockman 23:16, 17 January 2006 (UTC)Reply
