Tea room edit

We don't use the main Wiktionary:Tea room page anymore except to transclude the monthly pages, such as Wiktionary:Tea room/2014/April, where we have the actual discussions. --WikiTiki89 18:54, 30 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

About that…I was just trying to force the main Tea Room page to update its transclusion template for April in order to show my most recent replies to a thread there. Besides, coming from the English Wikipedia and being used to its Reference Desk didn't exactly prepare me for the way that the current month's archive isn't exactly an archive! Now I know better, though, and I'll remember for next time.

Well it becomes an archive after discussion dies down, which usually isn't too long after the end of that month. We only switched to this system recently, since the discussion pages got too big and slow. --WikiTiki89 21:40, 30 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
Ah; I see. Thank you for explaining this to me. — RandomDSdevel (talk) 23:18, 30 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
