Nomination: I hereby nominate User:BiT as a local English Wiktionary Administrator. BiT has been here since 2006, and claims to be admin on other Wiktionaries and Wikipedias. I don't think there are other Icelandic-speaking admins, so it could be useful. BiT doesn't seem to have made any enemies here either, which is always a good sign. Acceptance: Thank you for your nomination, the reason why I haven't applied earlier is because I really don't like the bureaucracy involved but I have no doubt that I'll be able to put some of the admin tools to good use here. Yes, I am in fact an admin on the Iceland and Latin Wiktionaries and on the Icelandic Wikipedia, although I'm mostly active on the Icelandic Wikipedia and the English Wiktionary these days. I don't know where it is, but there is a page where you can see the edit count for every user and if you look me up you can see I've been rather active on this Wiktionary. No, I don't think I've made any enemies here and gangi þér vel is Icelandic for "good luck" :) thank you for the nomination Jackofclubs
Weak support Not interacted personally, but contribution history looks good and adminship on other projects is encouraging. Equinox◑01:02, 20 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, I wasn't even sure that people would vote for me in the first place so I'm glad to see so many people approving of my being an admin (especially that "absolutely" from DAVilla, melts my heart). I'll put the new tools to good use, thank you --BiT15:28, 3 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
