     Lệ Bích ứa nước mắt mà nói rằng: "Mạng vận của Lê triều, thiếp xin gởi cho công tử. Vậy xin công tử hãy gắng lấy. Phận thiếp chẳng sá gì. Thiếp chỉ cầu chúc cho công tử ra đi đây được chữ công thành danh toại". Thanh Tòng từ biệt lui ra, rồi leo lên ngựa dẫn binh đi.

     Lệ Bích burst into tears, saying: "The Lê dynasty's fate, I entrust in you the noble son. I beg you, do your best! I care nothing about my own life. I only pray and wish that, on your journey henceforth, ye'll accomplish merits and achieve fame." Thanh Tòng bade her farewell and went out; then he mounted his horse and led the troops away.
