Mae Cymru wedi cael y tywydd oeraf ers tro - 7 gradd dan y rhewbwynt nos Fercher ym Mhowys, yn Sir Gaerfyrddin ac yn Sir y Fflint - a'r disgwyl oedd y byddai'r tymheredd yn disgyn hyd yn oed yn is dros nos Iau.
Wales has had the coldest weather for some time - minus 7 degrees Wednesday night in Powys, in Carmarthenshire and in Flintshire - and the temperature was expected to drop even lower during Thurday night.

The Met Office has issued a further yellow warning of ice in Wales between tonight and 11 tomorrow morning (12 December). The warning notes that care needs to be taken due to ice and snow between 4pm tonight and 11am tomorrow as the temperature drops below freezing overnight.
