Usage notes edit

This spelling is sometimes used by Indigenous Australians. Although the terms weed and pot are both commonly understood by Australians nationwide to refer to recreational cannabis (marijuana), ganja is a nickname used in many remote communities and is a common slang name for the drug in Aboriginal English.^[1] The term is also used in many other countries.
