guttersnipe (plural guttersnipes)

  1. (derogatory) A person who is from the lowest social or economic class.
  2. (derogatory) A street urchin.
    • 1913, George Bernard Shaw, “Act II”, in Pygmalion:

  3. (dated, slang) A small poster, suitable for a kerbstone.
  4. (dated, slang, US) A kerbstone broker.
