      Wages and income for the average worker have stagnated or declined as tax policies skewed to the rich and unchecked financial speculation have led to a reconcentration of wealth unseen since the 1920s.
  2. (historical) The act or policy of concentrating the rural population in or around towns and villages for convenience in political or military administration, as in Cuba during the revolution of 1895-98.
