sih (“mercy, kindness, to be satisfied”) + hasin (“to become”), neuter imperfective of hasįįh (“to become”), from ha- (pronoun denoting space) + sįįh (“to be caused to exist”), from *-łzįįh, from -ł- (classifier) + -zįįh (imperfective stem meaning “to stand up”).
