dummdreist
German edit
Etymology edit
Borrowed from the Middle Low German compound dumdrīste, in which dum (dumm) did not mean "stupid" but rather "reckless". Later interpreted more literally as dumm + dreist, literally “dumb-brash”.
Pronunciation edit
Adjective edit
dummdreist (strong nominative masculine singular dummdreister, comparative dummdreister, superlative am dummdreistesten)
