Learnedly, from Hellenistic Koine Greek ἀλληλεγγύη (allēlengúē, mutual guarantee) & semantic loan from French solidarité.[1][2] Morphologically, αλληλ- (allil-, mutuality: of each other) +‎ εγγύηση (engýisi, guarantee)
