Etymology edit

From զ- (z-) +‎ առ (aṙ) +‎ անց- (ancʻ-, to pass, surpass, be destroyed), thus “past [the age]”. Alternatively, the first part *զառ (*zaṙ) may mean "old"; see զառամ (zaṙam).

Verb edit

զառանցեմ (zaṙancʻem)

  1. to be delirious (of drunkenness or especially of senility)
