Etymology edit

Back-formation from հեղձամղձուկ (hełjamłjuk). Alternatively, an independent word from a root մուղձ- (mułj-) of uncertain origin, +‎ -ուկ (-uk); for this root compare մղձավանջ (mġjavanǰ) and մղձաժէտ (młjažēt).
