1. (with accusative) as, the same as, like, almost, according to, conformably, how; when

   որպէս զի ― orpēs zi ― in order that, that, to the end that, so that; because, for

   որպէս թէ ― orpēs tʻē ― as if, as though

   որպէս զիարդ եւ իցէ ― orpēs ziard ew icʻē ― at all events, no matter what happens

   որպէս զիարդ եւ կամք իցեն ― orpēs ziard ew kamkʻ icʻen ― however they may wish, in whatever way one may wish it

   մարդոյ որպէս խոտոյ են աւուրք իւր ― mardoy orpēs xotoy en awurkʻ iwr ― the days of man are like grass

   որպէսն ― orpēsn ― (noun) the why, the wherefore
