From a poem by Al-Mutanabbi. Literally: “I’m drowning – why should I be afraid of getting wet!”.

Proverb

أَنَا ٱلْغَرِيقُ فَمَا خَوْفِي مِنَ ٱلْبَلَلِ • (ʾanā l-ḡarīqu fa-mā ḵawfī min al-balali)

1. the situation is so bad that the risk of its deteriorating even more has become irrelevant; to have nothing to lose
