Literally: “the decent man appears with the mention (of his name)”.
ابن الحلال عند ذكره ببان • (ʔibn il-ḥalāl ʕind zikro bibān)
- speak of the devil[1]
- Synonym: ذكرنا القط، أجا ينط (zakarna l-qoṭṭ, ʔaja ynoṭṭ)
