Derived from Sanskrit अकनिष्ठ (akaniṣṭha). Structurally, from suffixed formation of অ- (o-) +‎ কনিষ্ঠ (koniśṭho) or Bengali Bahuvrīhi compound of অ- (o-) +‎ কনিষ্ঠ (koniśṭho).
