Learned borrowing from Sanskrit अक्षय (akṣaya). Structurally, from Bahuvrīhi compound of অ- (o-) +‎ ক্ষয় (khoẏ), or, by Bengali prefixation of অ- (o-) +‎ ক্ষয় (khoẏ).
