Attested in Mycenaean Greek as 𐀁𐀩𐀞 ‎(e-re-pa)/𐀁𐀩𐀞𐀵 ‎(e-re-pa-to), from a compound of Berber *eḷu and either Egyptian 𓍋𓃀𓅱𓌟 ‎(3bw) or Sanskrit इभ ‎(íbha).
