      Kokkin o okashita to nareba, Satsuma-han no tatsuse ga nakunaru. Shikashi, nantoka seneba narumai. Dono yō ni taisho suru ka o kangaete miyō.
      If we violate the national prohibition, the Satsuma domain will lose standing. But I feel obliged to do something. Let us think about how to deal with the ban.
