  1. A blackish-brown pill used in traditional Chinese medicine "to dissolve lumps and cause subsidence of swelling, to remove blood stasis and relieve pain, in the treatment of genital phlegmon at the early stage with swelling and pain but no discoloration of the skin; multiple abscesses; goitre, scrofula, breast carcinoma, and nodules of breast".
