From Middle English Abraham bosom, abraham bosum, Abrahames boseme, Abrahames bosum, Abrahams bosum, Abrahamys bosum, from translation of Late Latin sinus Ābrahae, from translation of Ancient Greek κόλπος Ἀβραάμ (kólpos Abraám).
