@Victar, leveling of *dʰlégʰ-ti ~ *dʰl̥gʰ-énti to *dligeti is pretty much expected. Compare for example *duketi (“to lead”) and *gʷaneti (“to strike”). See KPV p. 37 and Stair na Gaeilge p. 136 for details. —Caoimhin ceallach (talk) 19:24, 12 July 2024 (UTC)

Thanks for the sources. PIE *dʰl̥gʰ-é-ti is also a viable, but certainly athematic root presents are more common. --{{victar|talk}} 19:46, 12 July 2024 (UTC)
