@Justinrleung Because 擁 has two different standard pronunciations in Mainland and Taiwan, and Compounds section only shows one. I think it would be better to remain neutral, so I used hide_pron. Dokurrat (talk) 05:41, 27 August 2018 (UTC)

There you go again, since Indians can't agree on a national language, which is Indian, let's all switch to English, LOL. A default pronunciation is better than no pronunciation. @KevinUp: I don't endorse any kind of mass manual pronunciation input, which is basically against what we have been trying to do over the years (reduce the amount of reduplication within and across entries by improving the technical infrastructure). Most of the readers of English Wiktionary are not native speakers of Chinese- so having some pronunciation info is better than none. Unless we use popups (which I would be in favour of), it is impossible to maintain neutrality if we want to give some pronunciation preview for the links. Wyang (talk) 11:30, 27 August 2018 (UTC)
