Chinese. Proper noun. Very uncommon transliteration of Babbitt, referring to Irving Babbitt. Common transliteration of Babbitt is 巴比特（Bābǐtè）, when referring to Irving Babbitt, 白璧（⿱辟玉）德 is used, but this entry uses 壁（⿱辟土）, Encyclopedia of China and National Library of China uses 白璧德, see [1],[2].--Kethyga (talk) 23:46, 23 August 2023 (UTC)
