This verb is (or rather, these verbs are) a bit of a mess, the three senses overlap a lot, and I think two of them are of the same etymology. I've given up on trying to specify which of the attested forms refers to which sense exactly. KΓΆbler has a list of attestations for each of the three different verbs we got going on here. β Kleio (t Β· c) 17:27, 6 January 2017 (UTC)
Incorrect imperative
editIt's very misleading to have 'wis' and its variants as the imperative when Gothic uses the subjunctive for this verb. This must be fixed. Leornendeealdenglisc (talk) 04:14, 9 October 2020 (UTC)
- You're right, that should've been addressed earlier. Added a usage note to this effect. β Mnemosientje (t Β· c) 18:19, 9 October 2020 (UTC)
