Italian SOP. As the quantity of these entries also suggests, there's nothing particular about the noun that would make the constructions idiomatic. Not to mention, they can be preceded by other verbs like lanciare and keep their same meaning. Imetsia (talk) 00:49, 26 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

Keep, at least dare un'occhiata as the most common and idiomatic form, also present in other romance languages eg. echar un vistazo, jeter un coup d’œil. It's idiomatic insofar as you need to know which verb to combine with occhiata (you wouldn't say prendere un'occhiata). – Jberkel 10:53, 26 October 2020 (UTC)Reply
English entries with translation tables are the place to advise readers you give a look in Italian, have hunger in French, and so on. Vox Sciurorum (talk) 00:55, 27 October 2020 (UTC)Reply
Translation tables are a good starting point but a poor place to cram all sorts of other lexical information. And maybe it's not the reader's starting point. Maybe they have look at occhiata or vistazo and discover that there's an idiomatic expression using this word. SOP killed the serendipity star. – Jberkel 08:15, 27 October 2020 (UTC)Reply
Weak keep on dare un'occhiata, delete the rest. --Robbie SWE (talk) 12:56, 26 October 2020 (UTC)Reply
