Etymology

Pigs don't sweat all that much. Some sources claim that this relates to the smelting of pig iron. Equinox ◑ 19:35, 5 March 2018 (UTC)

Doesn't seem likely to me looking at all the languages and the various animals involved: otters, bulls, horses, chickens, beavers. Do these all sweat more than pigs? 90.186.72.91 09:45, 18 October 2022 (UTC)
