Gender issue
editI don't know about other countries, but in Australia "undies" usually refers to male undergarments exclusively, not women's. I'd suggest we change the entry to reflect this. Tooironic 10:00, 10 June 2009 (UTC)
- It's "gender-neutral" (heh) in the UK. If anything I've heard it more often to refer to women's. Equinox ◑ 10:04, 10 June 2009 (UTC)
- Interesting. In Australia, if you referred to a chick's knickers as undies she might slap you. It really is a masculine word here. ---> Tooironic 03:39, 5 May 2010 (UTC)
- Undies is also very masculine in New Zealand. Roguebfl (talk) 19:59, 12 June 2013 (UTC)
Plural-singular issue
editI think we should do something similar here to what Paul G suggested on the talk pages of pyjamas and pajamas. So as the English word is in the plural, translations that are in singular ought to be marked as well. Ferike333 11:16, 30 August 2009 (UTC)
