Template talk:de-verb-strong
Latest comment: 11 years ago by Lo Ximiendo in topic Auxiliary verb parameter demonstration, please?
Is this template deprecated or? An anon changed the head-line template from {{de-verb}}
to this one (in kriechen) when there is already conjugation information down at the bottom. I don't know enough about German templates to make a decision on whether to revert or keep. Can anyone shed some light on this? Jamesjiao → T ◊ C 22:35, 7 December 2010 (UTC)
- No, this is not deprecated. Headword lines use templates like this to show the few key forms of the headword. Readers who with intermediate or better knowledge of the target language typically only memorize those key forms and derive the other forms from them. The conjugation section shows all the forms of the word in a format that's not as easy to memorize. —Rod (A. Smith) 17:49, 8 December 2010 (UTC)
- But it is nominated for deletion, WT:RFD#Template:de-verb-strong. Mglovesfun (talk) 18:06, 8 December 2010 (UTC)
- The link is actually WT:RFDO#Template:de-verb-strong. —Angr 10:52, 26 December 2010 (UTC)

Auxiliary verb parameter demonstration, please?
editI'm trying to display the auxiliary verb sein at the strong verb (whatever class it is) absteigen. I wish there are instructions somewhere. --Lo Ximiendo (talk) 22:53, 1 January 2013 (UTC)
- Never-mind about that (I figured it out.), now I'm wondering about what the past tense and third-person singular simple present forms are about. --Lo Ximiendo (talk) 22:57, 1 January 2013 (UTC)
