Creating a userpage

Hello. I'm TCN7JM, and I'm a globally trusted user that has the sysop right on Wikidata and the rollback right on two Wikipedias. I'm saying this because I'm triggering the action filter that says new users can't create userpages, which obviously exists for spam-related reasons. I was wondering if you, an administrator, could help me do this. Thanks.

Disregard this. I've discovered that a second edit can help me bypass the stupid filter, so I'll just leave this here so I can create my userpage. I'd propose getting rid of that filter. It's next to pointless.

It's not pointless: it's completely eliminated two extremely prolific types of spambot attacks. Of course, the result may be temporary, but it's very helpful for the moment. Chuck Entz (talk) 14:39, 15 July 2013 (UTC)

Shouldn't there be some kind of global whitelist or something, though? The way this is set up now isn't the greatest.
